I bought Easter Babe a few summers ago as an unbroke 5 year old. I loved this mare from the moment she stepped off the trailer! She loves people, is willing and easy to handle. Unfortunately we just haven't had the time to finish her training. She has had some saddle time, even a little trail riding but it has been scattered over the last two years. She remembers what we worked on from one time to the next. I was amazed, after Babe being on maternity leave for over 9 months, she was the same as the last time I rode her! What a mare. I am rethinking having her on the sale list but with 14 horses none are getting the attention they deserve. Babe is an outstanding mare who could be a great trail horse or a great brood mare. I won't be sorry if this one doesn't sell, grin.
We bred her to Sunny for a 2006 foal. Phantom Creek's Diamond Duke is everything we hoped for, except he's a colt. I was hoping for a filly to keep. I believe he will be a super gelding.
