Goldie is what we think Fox Trotters should be all about. As seen in this photo, she fox trots even on a loose rein. She has a nice flat walk, fox walk and real cow horse canter. This picture was taken at a demonstration we did Sept. of 2001. It was during a carriage and cavalry competition. Even with all that noise and commotion, Goldie just did her thing. I trust Goldie not only with my precious kids but we use her for test rides for those who want to experience a fox trot. Later that same year, Goldie showed our exchange student, Kreska, from Poland about the Colorado Rockies. She has since taken several friends on rides in the high country.

My daughter, Kelly has had fun showing Goldie. She usually does well and they have a good time. Goldie has played lesson horse, gamely going round and round while Kelly learns. It has improved not only Kelly's riding but taught an older horse some new tricks.

We bred Goldie to Sunny and she gave as a really outstanding palomino colt, Chance! He reminds me a lot of his dad. He loves to run to the end of his run, slide to a stop, rollover and tear back into the barn! Goldie is getting a work out trying to keep up with him. He won the inhand trail class as a yearling and now has a new home. We are hoping to get a few more like him from Goldie and Sunny.

In 2008 They gave us Fox, an outstanding cremello colt. Now if we could just get that filly...
