This is F. Chance's Black Cinder. Check out this mare's pedigree! She is a grand daughter of Golden Governor, with two more crosses to him, out of a Zane Grey grand son! We feel blessed to have found a mare with such great papers and proven offspring. Her palomino son is standing on Lee Yate's ranch. Because she has produced palomino from a sorrel stud, we know she is a true smoky black. Look closely and you will see amber eyes, the only outward sign of the cream gene she carries. Not only does she look good but she moves great too! We rode her for a few more years after she had her last colt. Despite years as a broodmare she still remembered being ridden like she had never quit. My only regret is that cloning isn't readily available, I would clone this mare in a heart beat!
In 2001 she gave us a wonderful palomino colt, Cindy's Royal Sun, our standing stallion.
At 29, Cindy is retired and enjoying her last years here on the ranch.
We are very excited to own Goldie Locks F. After years of searching I finally found the perfect mare for my daughter (and me too!). Goldie is an old style foundation bred foxtrotter. She loves to fox trot! She also has a nice flat foot and canter. She was trail trained and ridden before becoming a broodmare. When we started riding her after a 5 year break, she went right back to being a well broke and trained trail mount! She has since done several demos/test rides, lots of trail rides, a few shows and shown many just what a fox trotter is all about!
She has produced 5 foals, 4 were palomino! Her sorrel foal, Casey's Last Chance, has shown locally and in 2000 & 2001 earned the all around Champion of Champions title.
Goldie had a great looking cremello colt, Fox on June 17, 2008. This little guy is all we wanted, except a filly. So he is for sale and we have Goldie bred back for next spring.
We bred Goldie to Sunny last spring and she gave as a really outstanding palomino colt, Goldie's Royal Chance! He reminds me a lot of his dad. He loves to run to the end of his run, slide to a stop, rollover and tear back into the barn! Goldie is getting a work out trying to keep up with him.
It took me about a year of searching and the help of some good friends to find Boss Man's Misfit. I was looking for a broke mare with a particular mix of bloodlines, conformation and a natural smooth fox trot. Of course temperament was a must. Missy fit all my requirements with a bonus of size and color. She is just over 14 h and one of the most unusual colors, she is a maximum sabino, no grey. We are having her tested to see what her base color is. We have found her to be smart and willing. Last summer she spent a couple months giving ridding lessons to some 10 year old girls. They loved her!
I am really looking forward to both riding her and getting some high quality foals when bred to Sunny. Missy's colt was born May 10, 2008. What a cute little palomino guy, Spirit! He is growing like a weed.

Pictures do not do justice to Jigsaw's Grey Peaches. In person she is stunning mare with a great deal of presence. Her movement is floating and rhythmic, regardless of what gait she is in. She is so well balanced I forget she is a solid 16 h until I get next to her! Due to some unfortunate problems in her past she has trouble trusting people but is not mean in any way. She has produced some excellent foals with good temperaments and her presence and style. She is in foal to Sunny for a May baby.
Check out her new filly, Faith!

Faith is just what I ordered! Cute, friendly, gaited and sorrel! Peaches has done an excellent job again. This cross just keeps getting better. I want to keep this one but due to our severe drought have priced her. I think she is worth every penny and if she doesn't sell before I hit my target number will be off the market. I think she will make a great cross with Blaze.
Born May of 2008

Sensation's Miss Scarlet is everything I have been looking for in a mare, great SOFT natural fox trot, a few extra gaits and she's a good looking bay to boot! I feel very lucky to own this mare. I bought her from the man who raised and trained her, thank you Bud for trusting me with your mare. She is now bred to Sunny for a May 2009 foal, can't wait to see what we get. regardless of the color or sex, it will be one great fox trotting horse. Of course we wouldn't mind a bay filly or buckskin colt.
This summer we are riding her and enjoying her great fox trot. She is gentle and well trained enough to let novices ride her. I am going to hate not being able to ride her all year but mares this good should be having good foals.
