Sampson's Boss

The Boss arrived on the ranch in June with his dam, Missy. He took the long trailer ride like a champ! Since his arrival he has captivated out hearts. He is Very out going and curious. A friend of mine was "playing" with him and couldn't believe he would stand untied and let her play with his ears and even stick her fingers in the sides of his mouth. Boss loves people and any thing we want to do with him is all good. He is also very playful, with his pasture buddies but respectful of humans. Aside from his great personality, he has all the rhythm and stride one could ask for! This colt is loose moving and yet still agile. Our biggest surprise is his size. His dam is just over 14 H and his full sister looks as though she won't get much bigger than mom. The Boss is going to be a good bit larger and with good strong bones to go with it. He is nearly as tall as some of my yearlings! Judging by his long legs he should reach at least 15 H and maybe more. This boy should make one outstanding mount. If we had more room we would be keeping him a stud to cross back to Sunny's daughters.
