Rose's Duchess is what our breeding program is all about. We bred Duchess to have that old style fox trot, temperament and hardiness. I'm no expert so her nice fox trot and stridey walk are all hers. She has been easy to handle since birth, very outgoing and friendly. She handles steep hills like a walk in the park. From the very first trail ride, she just knew how to carry herself over rough terrain. She is gentle, eager to please and easy to train. I started her myself, she is that easy to get along with. She is the first one at the gate and hates to be left behind. I think she prefers people to horses, though she gets along well with all. We call her "Auntie Duch" because she loves to baby sit the youngsters. Easy to catch, lead and trailer, stand for vet and farrier, has been highlined at camps. She even went to a clinic where we played with cows, she does better than I do! Responds to leg aids, backs, turns on the forehand and haunches, just learning to side pass. She will carry saddle bags and other "stuff". Not afraid of dogs or mountain bikes. She is gentle but I would prefer an intermediate or up rider so she can reach her full potential.
Her father is very special, Duke the Commander is a direct son of Danny Joe W out of a daughter of Golden Governor. He was a WGC Model horse who earned many ribbons in the show ring. Of course that was a few years ago, Duke passed on at the age of 34. Her dam San Antonio Rose gave us several well gaited, good minded foals, Duch is no exception.

SOLD This Is The One! Well Broke for Anyone to Ride!
I originally purchased Wood's Victorian Charm in 1998 for my daughter but sold her, a sale my daughter has yet to forgive me for. When her owner became ill and couldn't care for her, we jumped at the chance to get her back. Now that my daughter is off to college, we have decided to make this great mare available to a new home.

SOLD This Goldie's Royal Chance has been highly anticipated, born March 2005. Both his sire and dam have true, natural classic fox trots.. Goldie has been my daughters mount for the last 6 years. She is a superb dependable mountain horse. He is mostly foundation bred, both sire and dam have Golden Governor 3 times in their pedigrees. Chance took first place in the MSFTA inhand trail class last June. Chance learns quickly and loves attention. He stands for the farrier, trailer loads and clips. He has had regular worming and is current on all shots including west nile. This colt should make a great riding horse.

SOLD $2000 SOLD Thanks Laura!

Here is our remaining Frisco Cappuccino baby. Cappuccino's Smoky Gold got his name from his color. We aren't sure if he is going to end up palomino, buckskin or grey! Like all of Peaches foals, he shows both rhythm and athletic ability. He looks like he will finish out tall, close to 16h would be my guess. He won't be one of those lanky ones when he is done either! this one is an all around prospect looking for that really good home. Born May, 2001 $1500

SOLDI bought Duke's Easter Babe a few summers ago as an unbroke 5 year old. I loved this mare from the moment she stepped off the trailer! She loves people, is willing and easy to handle. We had big plans for her but too many green horses mean no one gets enough riding. So we reluctantly offer Babe for sale. She has had some saddle time, even a little trail riding but it has been scattered over the last two years. She remembers what we worked on from one time to the next. Babe is an outstanding mare who could be a great trail horse or a great brood mare. I won't be sorry if this one doesn't sell, grin.

Babe had a palomino colt last May, Phantom Creek's Diamond Duke. We are very pleased with this cross and could offer a package deal by breeding her back to Sunny.

Rocket's Lady Luck has that stocky well boned build we like. Combined with her gold plated shine, she is one good looking mare! We have ridden her around the ranch and I consider her well broke for the arena. I have taken her on a couple of trail rides. She is doing great but will need \a few more rides in the mountain before I would consider her experienced. Lady makes me wish I could keep more horses! Unfortunately for me, she must find a new home as I have too many young ones to work with.
