Due to ecnomic factors, we are severly reducing our breeding opperation. If I sell both studs we will quit altogther. So we are offering most of our horses for sale, even those we would rather keep. We have never put horses "on sale" before but must get our numbers down. Be sure to check out the mares and stallion pages for more sale prices.

Welcome to Phantom Creek Ranch, breeders of foundation bred fox trotting horses. Our goal is to produce quality horses, suited for general pleasure riding, mountain riding and as good family mounts. We are specifically looking to raise horses that are hardy, have a naturally smooth fox trot, a quiet disposition and good conformation. We have owned Fox Trotters for over 20 years, during that time we have ridden several different styles, sizes and shapes of horses. Using this experience, we have begun a breeding program we believe will produce just those kind of horses. We have been lucky enough to find a few mares with Golden Governor, Zane Grey and other old time bloodlines as well as smooth true fox trots. We have decided to specialize in preserving these older style horses and bloodlines with smooth fox trots. We feel these horses make the best and most versatile pleasure horses. After all, that is what they were originally bred for.

Here are two of Sunny's newest offspring, a sorrel filly, Faith, out of Peaches and a palomino colt, Spirit, out of Missy.

His babies just keep getting better! Well built and very gaited, they are everything we could hope for. The colt is for sale but the filly will be staying here to breed to our junior stallion, Blaze.

We are proud to announce the birth of Goldie and Sunny's latest colt, an outstanding cremello. We are calling him Fox.

This is a proven cross, the last colt was so good I have really regretted gelding him. This is your chance to own not only a color producer but one with great gaits, foundation bloodlines and temperament too. A total breeding package. Now if they would just grace me with that filly I want to keep...

Here are the yearlings, Breeze and Blaze having a game of ball.

Breeze, the dark one, was born here last May. He is just a lover and very smart! Every time I watch this boy move I get goosebumps. He has it all, his mother's style and presence, his dad's athletic abilities and a fox trot like I have rarely seen! Truly a total package.

Playboy's Blaze of Glory is our new stallion in waiting, by WGC Southern Playboy. His dam is one of the finest natural fox trotting mares I have ever seen. A hidden gem from the "brush". He already is exhibiting his parents great gait and style. Waiting for the to grow can be so hard. He should cross well on Sunny's fillies

We sold Goldie's Royal Chance, Thank You Laura!

The Sorrel sabino is Sunny's Fire Lily. Her flashy markings add to her out going personality. Lily showed in the inhand trail class, placing third as a yearling. She is growing fast and is ready and eager to start under saddle. She is well on her way with ground work we have already done.

To the left here is Chance's little brother, Diamond Duke, now two years old. He has that higher "gloss" to his coat that will make him shine even when dirty! Diamond Duke went to his first show last year, what a good boy he is. Loved the crowds! He is going to make one great gelding.
